SaaS directory
How we research software
This directory is built by the team behind StackKite, a small SaaS inventory tool. Here is how we collect the facts and what we leave out.
Where the facts come from
- Prices and plans: the vendor's own pricing page, copied as published. If there is no public price we write "Contact sales" and never estimate one. Third-party price data, where we mention it, is labeled with its source.
- Features: the vendor's product pages and documentation, mapped to the buying criteria of each category.
- Ratings: the G2 rating and review count on the day we checked. We do not show our own star ratings.
- Company facts: the vendor's about page, filings and company records. Where sources conflict, we use the vendor's own statement.
- Review themes: recurring praise and complaints in public reviews, paraphrased, not quoted.
What we leave out
Anything we could not verify. A missing value means "not verified", not "no". Acquired, rebranded and discontinued products are marked as such.
Our own product
StackKite appears in comparisons only in categories where it fits, always marked as our product and listed after the independent tools. It has no G2 rating yet, so none is shown.
Updates
Every page shows the date its facts were checked. Prices are re-checked at least every 45 days. Spotted an error? Write to team@thegtmlead.com.
